Surah At-Takwir - 1-29

81:13

وَإِذَا

ٱلۡجَنَّةُ

أُزۡلِفَتۡ

١٣

and when Paradise is brought near—

81:14

عَلِمَتۡ

نَفۡسٞ

مَّآ

أَحۡضَرَتۡ

١٤

˹on that Day˺ each soul will know what ˹deeds˺ it has brought along.

81:15

فَلَآ

أُقۡسِمُ

بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ

١٥

I do swear by the receding stars

81:16

ٱلۡجَوَارِ

ٱلۡكُنَّسِ

١٦

which travel and hide,¹

81:17

وَٱلَّيۡلِ

إِذَا

عَسۡعَسَ

١٧

and the night as it falls

81:18

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ

إِذَا

تَنَفَّسَ

١٨

and the day as it breaks!¹

81:19

إِنَّهُۥ

لَقَوۡلُ

رَسُولٖ

كَرِيمٖ

١٩

Indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is the Word of ˹Allah delivered by Gabriel,˺ a noble messenger-angel,

81:20

ذِي

قُوَّةٍ

عِندَ

ذِي

ٱلۡعَرۡشِ

مَكِينٖ

٢٠

full of power, held in honour by the Lord of the Throne,

81:21

مُّطَاعٖ

ثَمَّ

أَمِينٖ

٢١

obeyed there ˹in heaven˺, and trustworthy.

81:22

وَمَا

صَاحِبُكُم

بِمَجۡنُونٖ

٢٢

And your fellow man¹ is not insane.
